About Faculty
  • I am Dr. Latika Hazarika, currently working as HoD and Associate Professor in the Department of Philosophy and serving as Associate Dean, Research and Development at Madhabdev University. I have been engaged in teaching and academic activities since 2000, with a strong commitment to higher education and research.
  • My academic interests include philosophy, education, ethics, and gender studies, with a special focus on the educational status of women in Assam. I have supervised numerous UG and PG dissertations and am currently guiding five PhD scholar.
  • I have published several research papers in national and international journals and contributed chapters to academic books. I have also completed UGC-sponsored research projects and regularly participate in faculty development programmes, seminars, and workshops to enhance my academic engagement.
  • Apart from teaching and research, I actively contribute as a reviewer and editor in academic publications and am associated with various professional organizations. I believe in promoting critical thinking, value-based education, and interdisciplinary research for the holistic development of students and society.
